A predicative gerundive is a construction in Latin grammar where a gerundive (a verbal adjective) is used to express necessity, obligation, or desirability. It is formed by combining the gerundive form of a verb with a form of the verb "to be" (sum, esse). For example, in the phrase "puer servandus est," the gerundive "servandus" (meaning "to be saved" or "to be kept") is used to express the necessity of the boy being saved. This construction is used to convey a sense of obligation or necessity in Latin sentences. **

An adverbial predicative attribute is a grammatical structure that modifies the main verb in a sentence by providing additional information about the action or state described. It typically consists of an adverb or adverbial phrase that complements the verb and helps to clarify the manner, time, place, or frequency of the action. Adverbial predicative attributes are commonly used in sentences to provide more detail and context to the main verb. **

To ask about the predicative in a sentence, you can inquire about the subject complement or the adjective/noun that describes the subject. You can ask questions like "What is the subject complement?" or "Can you clarify the adjective/noun that describes the subject?" By asking about the predicative, you are seeking more information about the element in the sentence that complements the subject and provides additional description or information. **

When asking for the predicative in a sentence, you can simply ask "What is the predicative?" or "What is the predicate complement?" You can also ask for clarification by saying "Can you identify the predicative in this sentence?" or "Could you explain the role of the predicative in this sentence?" It's important to be clear and specific in your request to ensure that you receive the information you need. **

The predicative gerundive in Latin is a verbal adjective that expresses necessity, obligation, or desirability. It is formed by adding the suffix "-ndus, -a, -um" to the stem of a verb, and it agrees in gender, number, and case with the noun it modifies. The predicative gerundive is often used to express obligation or necessity, and it is commonly found in constructions with the verb "esse" (to be) to form the passive periphrastic construction. **

The main difference between predicate and predicative is that a predicate is a part of a sentence that tells something about the subject, while a predicative is a word or phrase that provides information about the subject complement. In other words, a predicate is essential to the structure of a sentence, while a predicative is optional and adds more information about the subject. Predicates typically include the verb and any objects or complements, while predicatives are usually adjectives, nouns, or phrases that describe or rename the subject. **

In terms of sentence elements, "predicative" refers to a grammatical element that provides information about the subject of the sentence. It typically follows a copular verb (such as "is," "seems," "becomes") and describes or identifies the subject. Predicatives can be adjectives, nouns, or phrases that complement the subject and help to complete the meaning of the sentence. They are essential for conveying the full message or description of the subject in a sentence. **
