Wearing hard contact lenses, also known as rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses, can potentially slow down the progression of myopia in some individuals. These lenses exert pressure on the cornea, which can help reshape the eye and potentially slow down the elongation of the eyeball that leads to myopia progression. However, the effectiveness of RGP lenses in controlling myopia progression varies from person to person, and it is important to consult with an eye care professional to determine the best course of action for managing myopia. Additionally, other factors such as genetics and environmental influences also play a role in the progression of myopia. **

Wearing glasses can sometimes make objects appear farther away than they actually are, especially if the prescription is not properly adjusted. This can cause a slight distortion in depth perception, making it seem like things are further away than they really are. However, with the right prescription and properly fitted glasses, this distortion can be minimized, and everything should appear at the correct distance. It's important to have regular eye exams and ensure that your glasses are up to date to avoid any issues with distance perception. **

Infrared signals do not pass through walls or other solid objects, so the range may be limited in certain situations. **
